About The Buddha House
Open, modern, and beautifully decorated, Buddha House is the perfect place for a much-needed family getaway, a friendship gathering, or as a stunning setting to host a celebration! Buddha House is a large, stunning, two-floor detached house and offers a little piece of luxury for you to be able to take some time out from daily stress!
Set against the cobbled historic roads of Huntingdon, Buddha House is situated in the quiet town of Godmanchester, surrounded by sweet little shops and restaurants, parks and green spaces as well as banks on the River Ouse. It is close to a variety of amenities and is within easy access to the larger towns of Huntingdon and St Neots by car or bike.

The Kitchen
Buddha House features a fully equipped kitchen, fitted with all the necessary amenities to allow guests to create delicious home-cooked meals. The kitchen offers high-quality integrated appliances and offers views out into the enclosed back garden.
The space is great for friends to chat with drinks whilst the budding head chef lets loose over the stove, cooking up some family favourites, new tastes, and world cuisines!
The Living/Dining Room
Our spacious open-plan living/dining area is just perfect for friends and family to gather and reminisce and spend much-needed quality time together.
The dining table leads out into the conservatory which overlooks the garden – perfect for summer! The living area features two large sofas as well as a comfortable armchair that looks out of the front window. Snuggle up, get the popcorn out and watch some blockbuster movies on the TV with the lights down low!
The Bedrooms
Buddha House boasts four bedrooms to sleep seven guests. This is perfect for families and allows children to sleep in their own separate rooms to be able to give the adults a bit of well-earned privacy!
The main bedroom is also a fantastic space for those workaholics who need to get that little bit extra done during a trip away. It offers a laptop-friendly workspace with a comfortable desk chair so that you can get work done in quiet and comfort.
The Bathrooms
Buddha House offers 2.5 bathrooms, with the main family bathroom featuring a spacious bathtub, a private ensuite leading off from the main bedroom, and downstairs there is an additional WC and separate shower room.
If you get back from one of our local walks and find that you are muddy from head to toe, then you will be in safe hands with our many bathrooms to hose yourself down or to immerse yourself in bubbles after a long day!
The Buddha House Location
The luxurious accommodation is in a perfect location to access other towns and cities further out of the area. We are only a short 10-minute drive to the town of St Neots, where buses run every 30 minutes to take you to a variety of exciting cities including the old, beautiful city of Oxford, the historic city of Cambridge, and the up-and-coming new town of Milton Keynes, home to the definition of a fun day out!
Buddha House is also only a few minutes drive from the bustling market town of Huntingdon and the mainline railway station with links to London & Peterborough.

Hamerton Zoo Park
Fun days out that are immersive and relaxing suit every family member, which is why a visit to Hamerton Zoo Park with its wide range of beautiful and unique animals, should be on your list!
It is set in over 20 acres of countryside and lush parkland, and features hundreds of incredible animals! Also on site is a coffee shop, beautiful gardens, and picnic areas to relax and recharge as well as an express railroad train that travels around the park, and also a large play area for children to let off steam.

Towerfields Leisure Park
The Towerfields Leisure Park is only a short drive away from our Buddha House accommodation and is a fantastic place to spend the evening, enjoying a blockbuster film followed by a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants in the park!
The leisure park offers a large Cineworld cinema and six restaurants including Bella Italia, for Italian cuisine, Nandos for peri-peri chicken favourites, Chi for a new venture into Asian cuisine, trusty McDonald’s, and KFC, as well as a new restaurant Dough&Co, which offers mouthwatering stonebaked pizzas.
Towerfields is a favourite among locals and is the perfect place to relax with family and friends at the end of a stressful day!
