About The Conker Tree House
Conker Tree House is a beautiful large farmhouse in Perry in Huntingdonshire that offers a relaxing natural space to enjoy with family and friends. The accommodation is secluded and private whilst still being within a short driving distance to local amenities and larger towns.
Conker Tree is the place to be if you love wildlife and animals, as it frequently welcomes feathered and furry friends from across the Huntingdonshire meadows. Colourful birds will sing sweet songs whilst you eat your breakfast, wild rabbits will watch from the grasses whilst you relax in the gardens, and inquisitive cows will gaze through the windows whilst you cook your favourite meals in the farmhouse kitchen.

The Kitchen
Conker features a fully fitted kitchen to create delicious home-cooked meals and high-quality amenities including a DeLonghi coffee bean machine to help you wake up during those lazy, hazy country mornings.
A focal point within the farmhouse kitchen is a historic timepiece…a beautiful cast-iron AGA! Step back in time and cook family meals using this fantastic unique appliance, where the food is cooked evenly to perfection. However, should you require an alternative means of cooking, there are also two conventional ovens available!
Important to Note: When in use, the AGA can become very hot, therefore for safety, it is important to keep children away from the AGA and keep them supervised at all times!
The Dining Room
The dining room is a brilliant space to entertain family and friends. Do you have a birthday celebration planned? An anniversary? How about a Christmas getaway?
Offering a space for eating, entertaining, and playing an array of in-house board games, the dining room is ideal for large gatherings and with its open-plan design, evenings can be spent chatting with the chefs in the kitchen whilst gazing out onto the lush garden.
We want you to feel catered and cared for during your stay at Conker, and so there will be the occasional trusted member of staff from our dedicated service team on hand to upkeep and maintain the property’s grounds allowing you to fully relax without stress or worry.
The Garden
Conker Tree’s expansive garden is another fantastic feature of this accommodation. Relax beside the old oak trees on quality garden furniture whilst children hang from them in our rustic tree swing. Recharge in your own private hot tub adorned with floral foliage and fairy lights – perfect for dusky evenings!
Take a seat beside our gorgeous water feature, close your eyes, and listen to the serenity of the cascading water and soft birdsong within the countryside air.
Should you want to flex your green thumbs, Conker Tree has its own private fruit and vegetable patch, offering delicious, fresh produce that can be used in your delicious meals!
The Living Room
Conker offers a 55-inch OLED tv with a Sky package – perfect for catching up on missed series and recently released movies. If you fancy tickling the ivories and having a group singsong during your stay, then look no further than the vintage piano, where your guests can gather around for Christmas carols, romantic serenades, or impressive sonatas.
The living room offers two sofa beds which are suitable for smaller guests to share or single adults.
A stunning focal point in the gorgeous living room is the iron fireplace, one of two in the property. Cosy up in the colder months with loved ones in front of the glowing, crackling fire whilst sipping on some hot cocoa or a nice cup of tea.
The Bedrooms
Conker Tree sleeps ten guests in five beautifully decorated bedrooms in the property all with king-size or super king-size beds, perfect for any kind of sleeping position!
The downstairs bedroom has the second of the beautiful iron fireplaces and offers dual aspects with views of the adjacent field where you might be greeted by our friendly neighbouring cows! It is also suitable for guests with low mobility and those who have trouble climbing stairs.
Upstairs there are a further four bedrooms, another with dual aspect, one with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, and all offering beautiful farmland or garden views.
The Dog Room/Utility Room
Pups deserve love and respect and at Conker, they have their own room! On the downstairs floor, there is a utility room, fitted with a doggy door which is the perfect place for your pampered pups to rest their heads after a busy day!
The utility room offers additional ovens which can be used instead of the AGA, and also houses our washing machine and dryer.
Light floods into this room through a large window, where, if opened, inquisitive cows might steal a glance!
The Bathrooms
Conker Tree offers three bathrooms, one ensuite, one main upstairs, and one main downstairs.
The main bathroom upstairs boasts a large shower space as well as a separate bathtub to relax and unwind within the bubbles!
The main bathroom downstairs is mobility friendly with only a small step entry to the shower and therefore is ideal to service the downstairs bedroom. It is also great to use for a quick shower cool-down after a long soak in the hot tub and useful for rinsing down messy pups!
The Conker Tree House Location
Conker Tree House is in a fabulous location and truly offers the best of both worlds! It is situated in Perry, a quaint and quiet countryside village surrounded by meadows and farmland. Outside of the village you have easy access to the bustling towns of Huntingdon and St Neots through the A1, as well as larger towns and cities such as Peterborough, Cambridge and Bedford. The accommodation is only a 15-minute drive from Huntingdon and St Neots, a 7-minute drive to the third-largest reservoir in England, and only a 45-minute drive to the historic city of Cambridge.
The farmhouse itself is within walking distance to a variety of amenities including a local post office and a highly rated pub, and only a short drive to access local supermarkets, delicious restaurants for takeaway or eat-in, and also an array of shops.
When you stay at Conker Tree, you will also be in close proximity to Grafham Water, England’s third-largest reservoir which offers a great day out for family and friends with water sports, cycling trails, fishing, and overall immersion in nature.

Grafham Water
Grafham Water is a designated Site of Scientific Special Interest and is only a 7-minute drive away from Conker Tree House. Grafham Water is the third-largest reservoir in England with over 1500 acres of nature reserve to explore with family and friends! It is home to ancient woodlands, offering a wide variety of bird and amphibian species to spot!
In addition to nature, Grafham Water offers a variety of fantastic activities for a memorable day out! The reservoir offers activities including water sports, fishing, cycling in addition to relaxing walking routes through the local nature.

Hamerton Zoo Park
Another local place to visit which is suitable for all the family is a visit to Hamerton Zoo Park with its wide range of beautiful and unique animals.
It is set in over 20 acres of countryside and lush parkland, and features hundreds of incredible animals! Also on site is a coffee shop, beautiful gardens, and picnic areas to relax and recharge as well as an express railroad train that travels around the park, and also a large play area for children to let off steam.
