First on our list for walks around Cambridgeshire is the beautiful Keyston Circular. This is a moderate walk for those a bit more serious than simply rambling!
This loop walk will take roughly three hours and will take you through some gorgeous wildflower meadows, forests, gentle hills and you might even spot a bird or two!

Next on our list of walks around Cambridgeshire is the Gunwade Lake and Overton Lake Circular. This walk is an easy 4.7km loop trail in beautiful Nene Park and is suited to all skill levels.
This walk will take roughly one and a half hours, will take you past gorgeous lakes, and is a great route for wildlife-spotting!

The trail is almost entirely flat paved, and you’ll be able to enjoy the many iconic sights of Cambridge including Jesus Green, Parker’s Piece, the famous university colleges and the variety of bridges that cross the beautiful River Cam.

Another one of our beautiful walks around Cambridgeshire is the Alwalton and Castor Circular just outside Peterborough, near Nene Park.
A quiet relaxing walk along the riverside, the trail is suitable for walkers of all skill levels. However, if you choose to partake in the trail, be sure to pack some wellington boots as some parts can get particularly muddy and are NOT suitable for your fancy sneakers or new walking boots!

A walk that has it all! The Grantchester Village and Meadows trail is an 8.4km loop trail just south of Cambridge. The route is suitable for all skill levels so is perfect for a family trip out!
On this beautiful walking trail, you will be able to explore lush farmland, the Byron Pool Nature Reserve for spotting rare wildlife, as well as the Grantchester Meadows which run alongside the beautiful River Cam. This trail will guide you through beautiful fields and woodlands, along the gentle riverside, awkward kissing gates, and even a visit to Anglesey Abbey itself should you wish!

One of our personal favourite walks around Cambridgeshire is the beautiful Grafam Water trail. A long but simple route, Grafam Water has a variety of different features suitable for all ages and skill levels.
The trail itself offers different activity options across its length, and in addition, you will come across woodland, farmlands, village streets, and the beautiful reservoir of Grafam Water itself.
